Eastleigh is a bungalow in quiet residential area of Clacton on Sea. There are good bus routes and safe walkways to local parks and facilities. The domestic styling of the house reflects the concept of ordinary contemporary living. Decoration, furniture and equipment is similar to that found in many family homes and is of high quality and durability. There are three bedrooms all of single occupancy and equipped with overhead hoisting equipment and specialist beds should these be required.

Children/young people are encouraged to bring with them some personal possessions to furnish their rooms with for the duration of their stay. There is a large kitchen/dining room that has patio doors opening onto a decking area for outside dining. The kitchen is equipped as a family home, yet safety measures are in place to manage accessibility to equipment that might pose a safety risk to a young person. There is a fenced garden area with a further covered area for outdoor activities. This is a new service for Achieving Aspirations and as the interests and support needs of the children accessing the service become apparent we will install appropriate outside play equipment.
