Achieving Aspirations goes the extra mile, in supporting children and adults with learning disabilities, to live happy lives, close to their family, friends, and those important to them.
Seesaw is a provision of Achieving Aspirations CIC that provides a range of diverse and engaging short breaks suitable for children with additional needs.
How it Works
Each new member has their own unique needs, that’s why we work with families and new members on a case by case basis. We strive to find the perfect service and location for your loved ones.
Our first step is always to talk to one of our specialists. We work with new members and families on a case by case basis.
The Getaway breaks are ‘taster’ breaks to help parents and young people who would like to attend our overnight breaks get to know us.
After the getaway breaks assessment has been completed you are ready to sign up and use our services!
We promote their progression, enable independence, and celebrate their successes in achieving the most modest to the greatest of aspirations.
Services We Offer You
At Seesaw, we have a vast amount of experience and expertise in providing activities and care for individuals with learning disabilities, particularly to those who have complex support needs and require a bespoke and specialist support. We host four different overnight breaks and two daytime breaks at Seesaw.
The Getaway breaks are ‘taster’ breaks to help parents and young people who would like to attend our overnight breaks get to know us. They also help us assess if our service can suit the young persons needs.
Good Company Breaks
Good Company Breaks aim to create a familiar environment each time the young people stay with us. We achieve this by ensuring familiar faces, consistent care routines are followed, same bedroom allocation and decorating service users’ allocated bedroom with personal belongings is encouraged.
Friends Together Breaks
Friends Together Breaks are an overnight short break provision of a one or two night duration with a theme to interest young people. They cater for up to twelve young people at any one time and give a real residential holiday experience.
Our Sleepover Club allows the children to experience the fun of a sleepover with a group of friends in a safe, structured and inclusive manner. This gives the formative experience of a sleepover with friends to differently abled children who are often neglected of such experiences.

to not only indulge in their passion for creativity, but to meet new people and
make friends in a fully supported environment.
Brickscape will run on the third Saturday of every month, places are available through Activities Unlimited website, or through emailing us here: firstname.lastname@example.org
