WeCan has an open referral system, that means you can just give us a call! At WeCan, there are no set admission criteria. We prefer to meet you and your support team to discuss your personal profile and needs. This allows us to assess if and how we can support you in the best way possible. If you accept the invitation to join WeCan, we can then meet up again to create your very own bespoke plan that will meet your unique circumstances.
Members are offered bespoke timetables to meet their needs and aspirations. We aim to support members to develop their communication and social skills, and increase independence and confidence to prepare them for their future. Daily activities include group sessions for those who want to join in the fun, such as art projects, science experiments, group interaction sessions, gardening club, exercise and dance clubs and sensory experiences. Individual activities include accessing the local community, shopping, cooking, visiting places of interest and building both personal and interpersonal skills.
Leisure pursuits that can be accessed, independently, during the evening, weekends and in home localities, will be actively pursued. Support will be provided and attend where necessary. There is also the opportunity to practice new skills and experience independence in our supported overnight stays.
At Seesaw, we have a vast amount of experience and expertise in providing activities and care for individuals with learning disabilities, particularly to those who have complex support needs and require a bespoke and specialist support.
